Destination Cyprus

My host family and I took a mini vacation and headed to Cyprus.

Our HQ a.k.a. Hotel was in Paphos and from there we visited the capitol Lefkosia(Nicosia), The Baths of Afrodite, Petra tou Romiou(the birth place of Afrodite) and Lemesos(Limassol).

On Saturday and Sunday the weather was sunny and very warm, but on Monday and Tuesday we got strong wind and some rain.

Over all our trip was fantastic with good company, delicious food and beautiful places to visit!

February

So February went over faster than normal.

Nothing abnormal happened, mainly because our ski trip in the middle February got cancelled for the farmers block in whole mainland. The airport that we would have landed had it's exits blocked so we couldn't have exited from the airport to continue our journey so we staid at home.

Also my home alone weekend was cancelled two times when A:s wrestling competition was cancelled for the same reason as our ski trip...

Well my dear(only) friends boyfriend came from England here on one Friday for a week and we visited the following Sunday a village named Spili. Spili is a very beautiful traditional village up in the mountains about half an hour south from Rethimno.

In mid March here is a carnival that we are sadly missing because of a trip to Cyprus, but they are spreading "statues" from previous carnivals all around the town and I have been taking photos of most of them.
