Do you believe in ghost stories?

Today I spent the evening alone and finally decided to watch "How to be single" movie.
It was funny and enough realistic for a drama/romance movie and I enjoyed of every second of it. Also the endings for each character were thought through. Not gonna tell more about that, so no spoilers and this wasn't going to be a movie review!

But what the main character, Alice, played gracefully by Dakota Johnson says in her last monologue really catches me and is something I sometimes also wonder myself:

"I've been thinking, that the time we have to be single, is really the time we have to get good at being alone. But how good being alone we really wanna be?
Isn't there a danger that you get so good at being single, so settled your ways that you'd miss out on the chance being with somebody great?
Some people take baby steps to settle down.
Some people refuse to settle down at all.
Sometimes it's not statistics. It's just chemistry.
And sometimes just because it is over, doesn't mean the love ends."

Personally I'm not freak out of being single.
I find it so much easier to being single (but not alone) while travelling the world.
I can go where ever I want, be with whoever I want and do whatever I want.
But I do sometimes miss being with a person who wants to share the things and the moments I love.
Never the less I am lucky to have friends all over Europe and even few in another continents.

And why the headline asks about ghosts?

I don't believe in ghosts or other supernatural stuff, but I don't deny them either. I need physical proof.

But

After finishing the movie, I was dancing (with very sexy moves may I say) to this song:

I was basically dancing a "being free and single"-dance with all my heart with my eyes closed, when out of the blue I felt like somebody had poked me to my stomach and all I could do was just stand there holding my stomach for few minutes my mouth opening and closing like a fish on dry land!

The logical side of my brain could understand that it was just my abs getting some kind of spasm, but I couldn't wonder if it meant something more. Because I swear that it felt just like somebody had poked me.

So, do you believe in ghosts?

May may go too fast

Very warm hello from Greece!
I mean it, because here during a day the temperature goes up to +30 degrees..
Still it doesn't feel that bad as it sounds, because we have nice north wind. For now.

End of April was hot as I stated in my last post a month ago and so it was a bit of a shock for my body when I arrived in Poland 24th of April to spend part of my 2 week (Greek) Easter holiday. The temperatures dropped with half from +30 to only +12 degrees!

Nevertheless I am a Finn so it took me only about half a day for my body to get use to that feeling of being cold so sudden.
One can imagine a body screaming "it is freezing here, we are so gonna die!" and a head trying to calm the situation down by saying "hey it's not that cold here and we have survived of MUCH more than this so take it easy". I had no chance but to laugh at myself!

Gotta stay warm!

What? I didn't tell you why I ended up in Poland? I think I have mentioned about it _few_ posts back, but let me remind you!

So I have a Greek friend K and through her I met her Polish friend O and some time ago we decided to go all at O:s place for about week and this happened during Greek Easter :)

She lives in Warsaw so I have lot of pictures from there!
She showed us many amazing places like parks and churches and so on.

I saw Hard Rock-cafè for the first time!

Beautiful sightseeing tower from Germany that all Polish more or less hate.
It's gorgeous tho.

Our trip was amazing and I was in the best company! Big thank you to my girls and also to B, P and O:s and K:s parents <3

Here's a bit more pictures from our trip to Krakow. Even tough it was raining the WHOLE DAY and we were freezing and wet and I ruined my shoes so I had to buy new ones, the city is beautiful and I definitely will go there again and we did have the best time.

We stayed there only one day (we left from Warsaw at 7 am and headed back home 12 h later, the trip with  a bus takes 5 hours) and on our way back I stayed in Kielce where I have another friend, D and back to Warsaw I headed the next evening.

Had the best time again and Kielce is "small" but beautiful city.

Polish delicacy, dumblings. Ou man i loved these! And especially these ones with strawberry and blueberry filling and sour cream sauce <3<3

Ok I realize now that I have used the word "beautiful" like a million times, but what can you do when everything is beautiful?

I left Poland on the 2nd of May and went  to K:s place in Piraeus for few days and on the evening of 5th we took a overnight boat back to Chania and a bus to Rethimno. What a trip I can tell! Saw many yes here it comes amazingly beautiful places, met people that mean a lot to me and also got new battle scars!

Had to visit Athens of course

Hills in Piraeus

Sunrice in Chania

Six-dogs -cafe was a bit expensive, but just amazing and serene place to have a coffee or wine in Athens

"You see, Piraeus is so ugly that it broke your camera" - K

Once again.
Amazing trip!
Amazing people!
Amazing life I have, because of the people in it!

Have a wonderful May everybody and enjoy all the good moments and people in your lives!
